Seniors: Choosing Your Path
Here’s a calendar for the college deadlines throughout your senior year. Seriously think about printing it out and posting it on your wall. Most of these deadlines are national or are imposed by the colleges themselves, so there’s limited flexibility!
August - Seniors should begin scheduling one-on-one meetings with Ms. Ulin
Sept. - College reps will be visiting Seabury. Finalize your decisions about where you want to apply!
Sept. -CSS Profile forms are online at www.collegeboard.com. Complete Part One.
Sept. 7 - Registration deadline for October 8 SAT/ SAT Subject Test
Sept. 16 - Registration deadline for October 22 ACT
Sept. 30 - Registration deadline for November 5 SAT/ SAT Subject Test
Oct. 15 - Deadline for asking teachers for recommendations for November 1 applications.
Oct. 15 - For all November 1 college deadlines – complete applications are due to the College Guidance Office
Oct. 28 - Registration deadline for December 3 SAT/ SAT Subject Test
Nov. 1 - For all November 15 college deadlines – complete applications are due to the College Guidance Office
Nov. 4 - Registration deadline for December 10 ACT
Nov. 2 - Deadline for asking teachers for recommendations for December or January applications.
Nov. 15 - For all December college deadlines – complete applications are due to the College Guidance Office
Dec. 6 - For all January 1 college deadlines – complete applications are due to the College Guidance Office
Dec. 13 - For all January 15 college deadlines – complete applications are due to the College Guidance Office
Dec. 22 - Registration deadline for January 28 SAT
January - begin filing Financial Aid Applications (FAFSA)
Jan. 6 - Registration deadline for February 11 ACT
Jan. 17 - For all February college deadlines – complete applications are due to the College Guidance Office
Feb. 14 - Valentines’s Day and, more importantly for some of you, For all March college deadlines – complete applications are due to the College Guidance Office
April 15 - You should start getting letters from colleges around now! Come by the College Guidance Office and let us know what you find out!
May 1 - STUDENTS MUST INFORM ALL COLLEGES OF THEIR DECISIONS BY THIS DATE
