Seabury Hall Middle School

MIDDLE SCHOOL MISSION

We, the faculty of Seabury Hall's Middle School, in accordance with the mission
of Seabury Hall, are committed to a learning environment:

that allows for young minds to expand, and for pre-adolescents to learn how to think critically,
  to explore creatively, to study, to question, and to be students and "individuals"
in a safe and caring atmosphere;

that enables young students to take risks, make mistakes, and develop psychologically,
  academically, spiritually, and socially with their peers so as to learn about themselves
  personally and interpersonally;

that provides interdisciplinary instruction designed to give students
a common core of learning experiences by grade level;

that nurtures students to become proficient in the basic skills
  of each discipline in a college-preparatory curriculum; and

that gives young people the structure and decision-making tools to become responsible,
accountable citizens in a community where rules are followed
and respect for others is embraced.
