Spartan Tennis Players Win MIL Singles and Doubles
MIL Tennis Championships
This past Saturday (4/22/17) at the Wailea Tennis Center, Mackenzie Wilson returned to center court to defend his MIL singles championship. The result was a resounding victory for Mac that makes him a back to back MIL tennis champion. Zack Walker and Corrado Rusnak triumphed in boys doubles to capture 1st place and Olivia Hoekstra and Jessica Griffiths battled through the intense Kihei sun to earn a 3rd place finish in the girls doubles competition. Silvan Engert came in 5th in the boys singles competition. All of these players will be competing in States in two weeks here-at Royal Lahaina and Kapalua May 4-6.
