Seabury Hall, is seeking a full-time English instructor for Grades 9-12 for the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates should be excited to work within a dynamic department and have a passion for teaching, writing, literary analysis, and diverse literature, as well as serving as an advisor to a small group of students. An ideal candidate will have an advanced degree, several years of experience teaching English at the high school level, and an interest in working with secondary level students outside of the classroom.
Seabury Hall is seeing a full time Humanities instructor for the 2024-2025 school year. The position includes teaching Humanities to grades 7-12 and serving as an advisor to a small group of students. An ideal candidate will have an advanced degree relating to the subject area and several years of experience teaching, along with an enthusiastic and collaborative spirit to work with students and colleagues in and out of the classroom.
Seabury Hall is seeking a full-time instructor of mathematics, for the 2024-2025 school year. The position includes teaching a full load of classes, potentially ranging from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus BC, and serving as an advisor to a small group of students. An ideal candidate would have an advanced degree and several years of experience teaching mathematics, coupled with a strong interest in working with students outside of the classroom.
Associate Director of Annual Giving The Associate Director of Annual Giving is responsible for building and implementing a comprehensive fundraising plan for Seabury Hall’s annual fund, known as the Laulima Fund, which is the foundation for the school’s fundraising initiatives. The fundraising plan will include goals, strategies, and multimedia programming to increase revenue for Seabury Hall. The Associate Director of Annual Giving is expected to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward meaningful relationships with a portfolio of leadership Laulima Fund donors. The position is charged with all aspects of Laulima Fund volunteer organizations, including recruitment, management, and training. The Associate Director of Annual Giving is a member of the Advancement team and reports to the Director of Advancement.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum three years of relevant experience in a development-related role, preferably in an educational environment. Must demonstrate understanding of direct mail fundraising or marketing and program implementation.
Appreciation for and commitment to independent school education and culture.
Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, including working collaboratively with all the school’s constituents while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
Strategic thinker who will adequately convey Seabury Hall’s mission and vision.
Excellent time management skills, computer proficiency in Google Business Suite, and working familiarity with fundraising databases, specifically Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge NXT.
