Full-Time Humanities Instructor (Grades 7-12)
Seabury Hall is seeking an engaging, energetic and passionate full-time Humanities instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking a candidate who has a gift for historical inquiry and a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives; someone who can spark a fire in the classroom and challenge students to think critically about the 'Big Picture'.

Across our World, US, and Pacific Island History courses, we need an educator who can help students navigate complex narratives and understand the threads of human interconnectedness that stretch from the Pacific to the global stage.

We are a team of dedicated, hard-working educators and supportive leadership who thrive on collaboration. Our faculty members are more than just colleagues; they are partners in innovation who support one another in creating a dynamic, inclusive, and rigorous academic environment. Beyond the classroom, our faculty supports students through school-wide traditions and experiences that enhance the full Seabury Hall journey.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in History/Humanities, (preferred teaching degree/credential and/or Master’s degree) and possess a proven track record of inspiring students in grades 7-12.

Salary ranges: $60,000 - $75,000 and is commensurate with education and experience.

In addition, Seabury Hall offers a generous benefits package that includes: medical and dental coverage, life insurance, employer pension contribution (after one year of full-time employment), and professional development opportunities.
